Palin Slams Obama For Slight Variation Of Language When Praising Troops
http://mediamatters.org/blog/201105310018
==========================================================================================
The Daily Beast's Shushannah Walshe reports this morning that Fox News employee Sarah Palin, kicking off her nationwide "Hooray For Me And Also America" bus tour, took a jab at President Obama for apparently being insufficiently laudatory of the greatness of the American military:

She also made a slight dig at President Obama for saying Monday at Arlington National Cemetery that his "most solemn responsibility as president to serve as commander in chief of one of the finest fighting forces in the world." Answering a question about Memorial Day, Palin said, "This is the greatest fighting force in the world, the U.S. military. It's not just one of the greatest fighting forces. And I sure hope our president recognizes that. We're not just one of many. We are the best."
==========================================================================================

Is there anything that Carribou Barbie won't politicize?

Hey you "blanking dimwit", correct me if I'm wrong, but that military that fought in WWII was pretty darn good. So were the Revolutionary War armies. And let's not forget the armies of Alexander the Great, who was one of 4 generals to have never lost a battle.

What a sanctimonious ass-pickle! Describing our military as "one" of the finest in the world, is pretty damn common and accurate.

I serve in the military and have for 27 years you "effing" hag! Trust me, some of the folks I've been stationed with would not be described as "the best". This "effing" hero worship of our "effing" military is some scary ass shit. Most of us in the military are humble folks doing a job and doing our best to provide for the defense of our country.

Please stop using us as a "effing" crutch you sorry ass quitter!

1. For someone who struggles with the English language
she spends a lot of time parsing the words of others.

3. I'm just going to have to refudiate her comments.
At least Obama uses words that actually exist in the English language.

4. Is it? Then why have we been denied 'owning' the Middle East for almost a decade?

5. she misquoted him, to make him look bad, what a leader!
he said one of the greatest "in the history of the world". She left out the "history" part.

She is the most divisive politician we've got right now so we have to pump her up. Let's hope for another Tuscon moment soon to stop the media following her every move.

6. She desperately wants the President to engage with her so that she can be connected to his level.
He will never take the bait and elevate her status.

9. Actually, the language Obama used covers our OWN army in times past

If one were to say that the present armed forces are the "finest military force in the world" it would be a slight to the US armed forces which fought in WWII, Korea, etc.

It really doesn't matter what Obama says, these people are stuck on stupid.

11. I saw that speech...
... and I am pretty sure that Obama just stuttered and then tried to smooth it out.

Could see it running through his mind like a billboard though. *Dammit, someones gonna have a field day with that one*
