My sympathies for those who were lost, injured, or suffered damage. It's amazing there weren't more deaths.

2. 4 people lost their lives. sad...
I have lived in MA for 43 years and I have never witnessed the size hail we had.

And where I lived, it was smaller than in some of those pics you saw.

4. Excellent photo montage. I tried to watch the videos yesterday....
....but they kept sticking on my computer, and it seems the news channels did not report on it, just went on with their usual punditry. Thanks. That storm is unprecedented, isn't it? Have there ever been tornados in Massachusetts?

Unusual, but not unprecedented. There was a huge outbreak in 1953. It was part of a giant storm system that started in Flint, Mich., and ended in MA. More than 240 people were killed, more than 90 in MA.
