Breitbart 's Weiner story getting very, very strange.

@patriotusa76 (the guy who originally fed them the Weiner pic) has gone silent and won't respond to Breitbart. I'm sensing a bit of fear in the Breitbart camp as they are starting to question who this guy is and whether he's telling the truth. Breitbart may be realizing he's got a big problem on his hands:

like if they hacked into his account and took an innocuous photo and altered it into what everyone saw, it gets messy for Weiner to explain, except perhaps by saying, "photoshop, photoshop, photoshop"...but it means there's criminal activity involved instead of just a malicious prank that may not cross the same threshold.

Weiners's been married for only a year. The Brett Favre stuff came out around the same time he would have been dating her. This pic strikes me as a JOKE perhaps for HER amusement.

The stupid thing is that he did not delete it..

He's embarrassed to say.."look it was a stupid joke between me and my wife" and was never meant to be "out there" for everybody.. Call me foolish for not deleting it, but who of us has not done a silly thing or two when we were crazy in love".. that would have ended it....and it could have been a teaching moment for people who "save" pictures they should not..

anyone who wants to get his or her panties in a twist over someone having a PRIVATE photo (that was not shared with this female - this she has already confirmed) has some real issues - about non-issues.

assuming it was a private photo - I don't know. or if it was a hacked photo. in either case, he did not share this photo with the female.

Dana Bash was an embarrassment to media when she asked Weiner about the many young females he is associated with via twitter. give me a freaking break.

true - old gassy republican scolds are not likely to be part of Weiner's political fans or circuit. quelle surprise!

this moment, however, is an object lesson in how our media is broken, our politics full of worthless nothing moments while important issues aren't "sexy" enough to discuss with the American people.

in a world with about a decade of fb, cell phones - all the gadgets of modern life - most people realize that such a picture is a yawn.

but, again, I don't know.

I do find the timing somewhat conveeeeeenient, to say the least.

Although I have no direct knowledge of those things, and I'm sure the timing of this nontroversy is totally coincidental and has nothign whatsoever to do with anything Rep. Weiner might be doing in regards to the obvious conflict of interest Justice Slappy Thomas has on any case having to do with health care reform.
