Ohio GOP House Speaker’s Twitter account hacked
Source: Raw Story
By David Edwards

Rep. Anthony Weiner (D-NY) isn't the only politician to fall victim to a prank on Twitter recently.

Ohio state Republican House Speaker William G. Batchelder found out Monday that his Twitter account had also been hacked.

Mike Dittoe, communication director for the House Republican caucus, told The Columbus Dispatch that he got a call from a supporter Monday night telling him that there were unusual tweets from Batchelder's account.

The liberal group ProgressOhio captured the hoax tweets before they could be deleted.

3. Nobody outside of Ohio gives a shit about the Ohio statehouse

In fact, most people in Ohio don't either. I'll bet that less than 10 percent of Ohioans have even heard of this guy. It's not the same as a high-profile Congressman like Weiner.

Not saying that 'Weinergate' isn't overdone, because it is. But I don't think the two figures should get equal attention in the national media.

4. FAIL. It's just as important. It shows that politicians' Twitter accounts

can easily be hacked, and that will show that the "DUers" who are accusing Weiner of being the effin' antichrist haven't legs to stand on.

2. "Batchelder said that he wasn't even aware that he had a Twitter account."
Yeah, sure...whatever. :eyes:

I'll remember this the next time I encounter the police:
Police Officer: KansDem, your car was spotted leaving the scene of the crime
KansDem: Really? I wasn't even aware I had a car...

Man, aren't the Republicans masters at this game??!!!
