'Sovereign Citizen' Opens Fire On Store Because It Ran Out Of Crawfish
Edited on Thu Jun-02-11 01:29 PM by CreekDog
I think anybody who needs an AK-47 is in too much of a hurry to mess with crawfish. :wtf:

A 'sovereign citizen' in Pensacola, Florida allegedly opened fire at a seafood market after learning that they had run out of crawfish.

42 year-old Larry Wayne Kelly allegedly fired upon the L&T Seafood Market with an AK-47 from the window of his pickup truck, after he was told they had sold out of crawfish on Sunday.

Employees found 11 bullet holes in the front of the store the next morning.

When law enforcement tracked him down and tried to arrest him on foot, Kelly allegedly attempted to hit them with his car. :fail:

According to the Sheriffs Department, four loaded guns were found in Kelly's car, including a 12-gauge shotgun, a pistol, and a revolver. The book "The Sociopath Next Door" was also found. Kelly told law enforcement that he is a sovereign citizen (someone who believes that almost all forms of government in the U.S. are illegitimate), and that he doesn't have to follow the law.

7. That is creepy
I've also noticed that pretty much only serial killers actually go by all three names.

9. My dad's middle name is Wayne.
But then, Dad's always been too damn lazy to do anything like murdering a person. That would require too much effort.

The Randian anarcho-capitalist "libertarians" aren't much better, either.

To every person in every situation. I've found those people are generally the least "Christian" among us.

4. Do they serve much crawfish in jail?
Maybe this guy should have taken that into consideration. I'd say that market will be getting some stocked before the jail ever starts serving up any quality gumbo.

25. "... Kelly's lead-filled rampage erupted about 7 PM when Escambia County deputies received a flood
of calls reporting a man speeding through Ensley, blasting an AK-47 assault rifle from the window of a pickup truck. At one point, Kelly got out of the vehicle and fired numerous shots at the storefront of L&T Seafood Market on Pensacola Boulevard, about two blocks south of Wal-Mart, witnesses said. Two hours earlier, Kelly allegedly called the seafood market to order crawfish and became "incredibly irate" when an employee said the store didn't have any, according to a Sheriff's Office report. From 4:50 p.m. to 5:20 p.m., Kelly called the market 11 times, according to the business' caller ID. The later calls went unanswered because the business closed at 5 p.m., investigators said ..."

28. Well, this "sovereign citizen's is gonna have
his sovereign ass locked down in the sovereign hoosegow for a good long while. I think the gubmint might just make that stick.

That people this stoopid are armed and running loose is very disturbing, however.

Think of all the fun he'll have designing a flag and anthem for his new country/prison cell.
He can even declare his toilet international waters.
