NJ Gov. Christie, GOP reimburse state for 2 helicopter trips

TRENTON, N.J. � A spokeswoman for New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie says the governor and State Republican Committee are reimbursing the state for all personal use of a state police helicopter, which includes two trips to watch his oldest son�s baseball games.

Spokeswoman Maria Comella says Christie has paid $2,251 to the state to cover the cost of all trips.

Comella also says the state GOP has paid $919 to cover the cost of Christie�s trip Tuesday when used the helicopter to fly 75 miles from a game in Montvale to Princeton to take meeting with a group of top GOP campaign contributors from Iowa.

...the state. However, the fact that he would use state property for personal use says a great deal about his integrity or lack thereof. This is exactly what we need in Washington, another politician without moral character.

Edited to fix a spelling error that the check spelling function did not pick up.

6. You are so right. Integrity is what you do when you think no one is looking.

Christie is another one of those do as I dictate, not as I do hypocrites. He gets to judge others and is probably very pissed he was forced to repay what he burned in taxpayer dollars for his personal use 'copter ride. (call him 'mater from now on?) But welfare cheats offends him? Helping homeless offends him? everyone must have a "shared sacrifice"?

They sacrifice, he rides in taxpayer-paid helicopters.

No integrity what so ever.

8. $2251? I don't think so...

This aircraft is bigger than a Blackhawk. Faux News claims that aircraft costs $2500 per hour to operate, but that sounds REAL low.
