Breitbart now appears to be attempting to distance himself from Wolfe (Salon)
Edited on Thu Jun-02-11 05:16 PM by kpete
Breitbart did not immediately respond to an inquiry asking if he leaked the emails to the Smoking Gun. But Breitbart now appears to be attempting to distance himself from Wolfe. Here is a string of recent Breitbart tweets, beginning late Wednesday night:
http://twitter.com/#!/andrewbreitbart

Come out, come out wherever you are 'Dan Wolfe' @patriotUSA76! Stop hiding behind anonymity! Own up to your role & motivation.

Is there a real 'Dan Wolfe' @PatriotUSA76 or has someone for months elaborately pretended to be? #Weinergate gets more confusing!

Lookin' for some clarifying data from @patriotusa76. Call me. I'm listed. Article coming by 2pm EDT @BigGovt

So for reasons that are not entirely clear, Breitbart wants Wolfe to "own up" to his role in the scandal. The emails to the Smoking Gun at least partially document Wolfe's role. But there remain many unanswered questions: Was Wolfe involved in the "prank" or "hack" that Weiner has alleged? What's his real identity? How did he know back on May 12 that there was a lewd picture scandal involving Weiner on the horizon? And did Breitbart play some other role here that has not yet emerged? We'll update if we hear back from Breitbart

8. Whatever the case, he has established enough of a track record as a nogoodnik
that he invites suspicions. Whatever you think of him that's ill, you're probably not far from the truth.

I mean, consider the source. This is andrew breitbart we're talking about here. He's an online hack, character assassin, and terrorist. And we should be referring to him as such.

9. All day I've thought of how lucky it was that A Weiner..
was on Twitter at the time of the hack... and deleted the photo.. before it reached it's target..

Must have been a major disappointment that the photo did not get to the "teenager'/ girls..that the tricksters wanted it get to..

10. Why does the Media pretend Breitbart is a credible journalist?
Reporting rumors instead of investigative reports. The entire Mainstream media is a fuking joke.
