so I just got an email from the Obama camp requesting funds
because he takes no money from PACs or special interests.

question: Should I throw up now?

2. Isn't that disingenuous of them? Didn't Obama get substantial backing
from the nuclear idustry? Am I mistaken?

4. Obama got substantial backing from all kinds of industries
Maybe what they're saying is they're not going to this year?

Or maybe they've got some creative truthiness going on over there... like yeah, we don't take money from PACs or special interests... yet...

7. Not financially. He doesn't take PAC money. The fact you don't understand how donations
from individuals happen is sort of sad.

6. You are mistaken. He does not take money from PACs. Why this is so hard for DU'er to get
I don't understand.

When you donate- your workplace is listed. So if 1000 people nationwide who work in garbage collecting donate to candidate X that doesn't mean that the Garbage Industry has donated 10,000.

9. That is the only reason I will vote for his reelection
And I will be holding my nose as I do so.

"I'm not as bad as the other guy" is hardly a compelling reason to vote for anyone, anytime.

10. I got one too
I put it in the trash folder. The billionaire corporations will continue to finance his campaign since they get so much in return, he'll have plenty of funding.

11. I just got one of those surveys from the DNC..
asking stupid questions and requesting money. I filled it out, explained some of the problems I have with Obama, putting particular emphasis on his breaking of a campaign promise and raiding MM dispensaries here in Washington state, then sent it back...sans money.

12. You should start a thread about it!
For cryin' out loud, if you don't want to help a Democratic president get re-elected then fucking DON'T.

Do you want a cookie or something? Or just some attention?

14. Throw up? No. Laugh? Yes.
After I was done laughing? I would laugh some more.

Won't get a dime from me.
