"Not everyone is a Christian like me, but they should be."
That's how the Wingers operate, right?

Hey, it works with other stuff too…

"Not everyone is hetero like me, but they should be."

WOW!

What else?

"Not everyone is a paranoid xenophobe like me, but they should be."

This is amazing...

Let's take it a little further, shall we?

"Not everyone is an ignorant, hate-driven, violence-loving, greedy bastard, with a racially tinged entitlement complex like me, but they should be."

By George, I think I've got it!

Ain't America great?

1. I believe you have it surrounded, Mr. S.
I wish you were wrong, but I know you're not.

3. And while you're ignoring them, they take over your country, rewrite your laws, and destroy
the Bill of Rights.

6. first of all, you put your own paranoia into my comments. You ignore
their toolish stupidity but that doesn't mean that you stop doing other things. Working for the good rather than working against the stupid is a better path. Really, you should relax. I didn't say a word you just attributed to me.

10. you imply because I am ignoring them and their bs that I am sitting
and doing nothing else. Parse this: You can ignore the stupid and still be active in your efforts to make it go away at the same time.

5. Pssst
Heaven will be a lot less crowded for you if you quit converting the heathens.

(That should appeal to their selfish nature)

11. Yep. Same logic as "I had to go through it, you should too"
BECAUSE it damaged me in some way I haven't repaired.

Ever notice that the people who the military was genuinely good for are very thoughtful and hesitant about recommending the military to the young, those who were abused but tolerated it tend to indiscriminately say anyone can join, it's no big deal, and those who were severely damaged about it often INSIST that EVERYONE should be in the military?

Of course, I'm not counting those damaged ones who know they're damaged, who are conscious enough to label their issue as PTSD and their fears as irrational remnants of their military experience.
