1. There's no question: Tom Tomorrow is the smartest, sharpest view past the Bullshit
Particularly note panels 4 and 6.

Everybody's data -- e-mails, school records, shopping habits, bank statements, internet surfing habits, DVD rentals, every bit of data they can get their hands on -- is being collected and analyzed.

We're all being profiled. Phillip K. Dick called it "Pre-crime" in Majority Report(he's been right about just about everything), only the US government and several others are doing it with predictive computer algorithms. Simple as that.

I don't know how he maintains his exquisite sense of irony without going insane, or at least becoming insanely bitter, but he does. Hats off.

See, it's not Bush and Cheney in the White House anymore, so everything's jake. Hope! Change!

By the way, the explanation for the fourth panel is that the members of the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence are bound not to discuss classified information they receive in secret hearings. And anyone who's observed the peculiar pattern of the Department of Justice in its prosecutions would be well advised not to put himself in the role of whistle-blower.
