1. Two things about Norway

They get $54K/person in oil revenues every year. That buys lots of social programs.

Not the most ethnically diverse country in the world.

I did vote for Norway though. You want a little bit of Norway in the United States - try moving to North Dakota and less so Iowa. My wife is full blooded Norwegian stock, and I would trade for Norwegian citizenship in a heartbeat.

Norway not only produces more wealth per capita but distributes is much, much more equitably than the US does. What's not to like?

Trade with other countries equals 67% of Norway's GDP, while trade is just 22% of our GDP. 17% of Norway's population is foreign-born, while 12.6% of the US population is foreign-born.
