Wisconsin: "Alberta Darling How Could You?" Ad runs against recall target
http://www.jsonline.com/blogs/news/123271073.html

<snip>

State Rep. Sandy Pasch (D-Whitefish Bay) faults state Sen. Alberta Darling (R-River Hills) in a new TV ad, accusing Darling of cutting education, public safety and women's health programs while extending tax cuts to wealthy individuals and corporations.

Pasch's commercial is the first TV broadside in the July 12 recall campaign against Darling. If other candidates get into the race, the July 12 election would be the primary and the runoff would be held Aug. 9.

"Alberta Darling, how could you?" an announcer says in the Pasch ad, before listing cuts Darling voted for in the Joint Finance Committee review of Gov. Scott Walker's 2011-'13 state budget.

Pasch then appears on camera calling for joint sacrifice "from public workers to big corporations" as part of the solution to balancing the budget.

2. Darling is the only one of the repub 6
in my area (Milwaukee) though I don't live in her district. I've been noticing the yard signs. In Menomonee Falls they are almost all Darling. In Shorewood they are all Pasch. I think this will be a close election.

3. Weak ad
Its mind-boggling when democrats try to say that "everyone" needs to sacrifice. Really? How exactly have poor people done anything wrong? What do they have to do with our fucked up economic situation and why do they have to sacrifice anything when they already barely have anything?
