Who in their right mind endorses the "secret hold" in the Senate?

This is a provision in Senate rules that allows a single senator to stop legislation, anonymously. Without accountability.

In my opinion, this is insane.

If you want to stop action on a certain bill, you should have to stand up and say why.

The United States Senate is one messed up organization.

I agree, but the last line should read.
Congress is one messed up organization.

We are so screwed. I did vote but not for any pukes yet we are saddle with a local R country club ahole lobbyist as our senator to the state house. They are gutting education or planning to, ADAP-Medicaid, they have already said no to hiv patients who have recently lost their jobs and of course now have no insurance. This shit is so short sighted it will result in worse education out comes and more trips to hospitals,earlier fullblown AIDS with the consequences being bigger medical needs. I know this from personal experience since I m a 30 yr hiv survivor.
