Taxpayers Get Bilked For Sarah Palin’s Diva Bus Tour Perks
http://www.politicususa.com/en/sarah-palin-taxpayers

Rep. Earl Blumenauer wants to know just how much taxpayer money was spent providing Sarah Palin with private tours, early admission, and special escorts at National Park Service run public attractions.

(snip)

What kind of fiscal conservative makes the federal government spend more tax payer money to pamper her? Sarah Palin’s record of huge spending in Alaska blows the notion that she is a fiscal conservative to smithereens, so the idea that Sarah Palin even knows what a budget is, much less how to adhere to one is laughable. If Palin wants to reduce the size of government, she could start by not requiring our tax dollars pay for her diva act.

Sarah Palin mooched off of the people of Alaska, and now she is taken her act national. Sarah Palin’s brand of fiscal conservatism makes George W. Bush look like Ron Paul.

Sarah Palin is a big spending publicity generating machine, and every American taxpayer is getting stuck with the bill.

(end snip)

1. That would be your normal, GOP "fiscal conservative."
They are just fine spending the public's money on themselves. It's spending on the poor, the old, the hungry, the cold, the uninsured, ad infinitum, that really ticks them off.

When it's special favors for them or their cronies, eh, not so much.

5. Particularly considering she isn't even an announced candidate, doncha know
Let us know when she files the proper papers to become a formal candidate, and particularly when she files that financial disclosure form. It should make for some very interesting reading . . .
