Edited on Thu Jan-06-11 09:31 AM by panader0
I just heard this on the Tucson TV station. It happened at 3 AM this morning.
It's hard to believe that deadly force was needed to arrest him.......
Sorry, no link

1. climb the fence, die.
point is, deadly force was not needed. the ICEhole elected to pull the weapon and shoot the climber.

Cause of Mexican teen's death disputed

A Mexican teen who threw rocks at Border Patrol agents in Nogales died Wednesday, officials said.

A Mexican official said the teen fell from a border fence and hit his head on a rock. The Nogales (Ariz.) International newspaper reported that Sonoran state police had said the youth died of a gunshot wound.

Agents fired warning shots in the air after the 17-year-old and other Mexican youths had illegally crossed the border, said Alejandro Palacios, a spokesman for Nogales, Sonora. He said the youths then threw rocks at agents but that none of the youths was shot.

Ramses Barron Torres, who lived in Nogales, Sonora, died after he landed on Mexico's side of the fence, Palacios said.

Mexican teen dies after throwing rocks at Border Patrol agents

NOGALES, Ariz. (AP) - A Mexican teenager who threw rocks at Border Patrol agents in the Arizona city of Nogales is dead, but his manner of death is now in dispute.

A Mexican official says 17-year-old Ramses Barron Torres died early Wednesday after he fell from a border fence and hit his head on a rock.

But state police in Sonora, across the border from Arizona, say companions of the teen claim he was shot by a U.S. Border Patrol agent.

Mexican teen who died in border confrontation was shot, officials say

A Mexican teenager who died after a confrontation early Wednesday morning with Border Patrol agents in Nogales was killed by a gunshot, Sonoran officials say.

The Sonora State Investigative Police, or PEI, said 17-year-old Ramses Barron Torres, who died shortly after 3 a.m. at a Nogales, Sonora hospital, was shot in the back of the right arm, with the bullet continuing into his chest cavity, puncturing a lung, and lodging in the left side of his ribcage.

Barron Torres' gunshot wound, the PEI said in a news release, "appears to have been caused by an agent from the Border Patrol when he tried to cross illegally into the United States."

6. Fired warning shots?
I'm pretty sure that would go against any training any LEO or military personnel has received.

We'll find out soon enough. It will be easy enough to count the holes.
