Sometimes people do things of great import and get their names changed.
You could become say Dances with Wolves or il Douche. A certain amount of fame and you might be Cher or the artist formerly known as Prince. What you do to get your name changed by a society isn't necessarily good. You could get your name changed to The Oklahoma city bomber or Dim Son. I would like to suggest that what Andrew Brietbart has done is sufficiently pernicious that we, as a society should henceforth refer to him as "The Underware Sniffer". It's sort of like "The dog whisperer", but not.

1. And Weiner could change his name to Hotdog.
He'd still get unfortunate jokes, but at least they'd be about something else. ;-)
