A lot of the Dems say that A.Weiner should resign ...
because they can't take the lying. Ed Shultz says its the lying and the cover up.

Kaine says:“Lying is unforgivable,” Kaine told a CBS-19, a Charlottesville television station on Tuesday. “Lying publicly about something like this is unforgivable and he should resign.”

If that is the case then shouldn't they be asking for The republiCON party to resign and all of their moles in the Democratic party?

1. I don't care what he does
I have other priorities.

I'm not going to waste my time criticizing him, but I also won't waste my time defending him either.

3. Sure. His voting record means nothing. Lots of people vote that way.
Right?

Why, there was someone on DU just the other day insisting AW wasn't indispensible, that there are lots of "progressives" who could fill his shoes.

THEN WHY DIDN'T THEY? Why was he the one standing alone defending our causes so often?

You wanna pretend this has nothing to do with you? Does Social Security have nothing to do with you? Does Medicare have nothing to do with you? Does the Supreme Court have nothing to do with you?

Creep away from this mess and soon that will be true.

6. Exactly..
especially this part:"Why, there was someone on DU just the other day insisting AW wasn't indispensible, that there are lots of "progressives" who could fill his shoes."

and this

"THEN WHY DIDN'T THEY? Why was he the one standing alone defending our causes so often?"

The Dems are doing what they always do NOTHING but whine with republiCON talking points. We have been saying for years many of them are being blackmailed. Many are now resigning and not running again. Many are really RepubliCONS.

7. Let me get this straight
Democrat gets caught in a compromising situation, Republicans and Democrats call for his resignation.

Republican gets caught in a compromising situation, Democrats call for his resignation and Republicans check to see if their shoes are still shiny or if it's raining outside.

Seems the only time Democrats can agree to focus in on something, it is their own feet in the cross-hairs.

9. Randi is eviscerating Ed Schultz today for
his Republican like behavior with Weiner. Alot of the Democrats (Harry Reid) are weak of character, just weak. Honestly I wish there were another viable party. Most of them make me sick with their puritanical pander.

10. Wiener's a douche, but he shouldn't resign
I'm highly critical of what he did, but if Bush and Cheney can start illegal wars, engage in torture, etc. etc. and stay in office, let Wiener stay if he'll stop showing his wiener to strangers.

17. Do you want to hear something really sad , Kaine is the Va
Democratic party hope to become the next Senator from Virginia. The only thing that gives me hope is the fact that the likely republic nominee will be former Sen. George Allen aka 'a huge POS'.So maybe Kaine can win if he plays hardball .

Weiner at least is a human being. I'll take a flawed human over yet another sub-human conservative.

so piously about "values" while screwing everything that moves.

27. The tweed hat democrats can be our greatest enemy
The tweed hat democrat is in love with the sound of their own voice and expects the world to live up to their impossibly high standards. They do this simply to show others (and assure themselves) how much smarter and better they are. They have cost us many elections by siding with the republicans against our own. They keep wishing for a perfect world instead of recognizing the world for exactly what it is and then dealing with it.

If their spouse were violently attacked and being stabbed with a knife they would reassure the victim from the sidelines thusly:

Don't fight back. We have to be better than they are. Don't stoop to THEIR level. Don't gratify this assault by acknowledging it. Just ignore it and it will go away.

When their spouse is dead, they will walk away smiling because they are so proud of themselves. I held the high moral ground; I did not compromise MY morals; I am so much smarter and better than everyone I see.

Maybe it is Weiner's brazen heterosexuality that is an issue?

The last time I checked, the republicans were in charge of sexual morality. Why do we fight their cause?
