I'm for hanging Weiner out to dry.
Screw him. He disgraced the Democratic Party, and by extension, liberals and their causes.


Well, hang him out to dry, we're better than that. Resign Weiner.


Now, let's get back to what's important - saving the American poor and middle class and impeaching that criminal Clarence Thomas.

I don't respect smear merchants and actually give them no quarter. They use weakness of media and society to try and control people for monetary and political gain.

And is the standard for congress telling a lie about an issue that is covered by right to privacy, and only is seen by the use of tactics of smear and humiliation outside of his role as a congressman.

You can find a flaw in anyone, and when that is used out of perspective for smear, you want a world ran by paparazzi

It's the disregard for how this would reflect on the Dem Party that makes me so angry, but I think he's one of the good ones and I'd like to see him get through this and keep fighting the good fight. :shrug:

Exhibitionism (cyber or otherwise) needs treatment. It's a sad little compulsive disorder that can have big consequences. And Wiener had it buried deeply judging by all the lies. He needs to seek help from Dr Phil. Ask forgiveness from Oprah.

Agree--we would be SO stupid to ally with Repugs against Weiner over this. I've gone from making jokes & being angry to seeing the big picture.

hypocrisy of the the Republicans (a shocker, I know) regarding Cantor's response to Ensign and Vitter vs Weiner. She said it's "IOKIFYAR" -- It's okay if you're a Republican. Good piece -- she always lays things out so well.

33. He was the most effective spokesman for the Democrats in
Congress but his lying has ruined that. His not resigning is his call and I think a good one, let his district decide if they want his as their Representative, but as a key spokesman he's done for awhile. I hope he can make a comeback but who knows how long this thing will hurt him.
