Then, maybe Weiner should as well.

After all, the GOP members who lied about DEATH PANELS lied about an actual issue that effects this country.

I'm sure the media will notice that, right?

9. Comparing apples to oranges won't win you some arguments
If you hold Republicans to a certain moral standard, you must hold your Democrat to the same standard.

What you do in your personal life, barring illegal activity, is your business.
Sexting, and who knows what now, shows Weiner was thinking with his dick and not using common sense.
rationalizing the behavior does not make it right. comparing possible infidelities with lies about insurance reform will not win you many converts.

11. I'm comparing lies that matter to lies that don't matter.
Republicans lying about Death Panels is a big deal.

Weiner lying about a behavior that we on the left claim is "none of our business" should be a non-issue. That is, IF the left was serious about the personal life of public officials being "none of our business".

Clearly, we care a great deal about their personal lives, it is our business.

Its kind of like a new version of DADT.

Don't tell us about your sex life (because we don't care), but if we find out about it and ask you questions about it, you better tell us all about it truthfully.
