68. Obama does not need an excuse
He has no power . His chief of staff likes the Third Way. Google it. Another clinton appt.

When Obama was campaigning in the primaries, he was drawing thousands. Hillary was seen in diners shaking hands with people who barely looked up . Chris Mathews was calling her the inevitable next president. She was the one who was supposed to win on the clinton legacy of a better economy. "They" thought that the american people would forget the abominable clinton policies.

Matt Taibbi could barely contain his mirth, during the primaries, interviewing a middle aged white woman who was voting for hillary. The reason given, "She is going to bring back jobs." Recently hillary was seen in Brazil with the new female president. They both want to bring back the middle class. It would be fitting , since her husband was a mover and shaker in destroying the middle class.

70. I don't know what to think about the Clintons.
Their ideas of stirring up commerce were downright reckless, and maybe, in some cases, criminal. I look back now and wonder how they couldn't know the negative impact they would have on the lives of the people who believed in them. I mean, the powerless people who believed in them. Not the people who were doing well from knowing them.

The same guy who picked Rahm Emanuel as the original COS, the same guy who picked his brother to be the new COS, the same guy who picked Obama to be U.S. Senator, and the same guy who picked Rahm to come back to Chicago and take his place.

49. It is a possibility.
I am looking for some explanation for Obama's questionable decision making from 'looking forward' to extending tax cuts for the wealthy. But he doesn't appear to be overly stressed out as if he was being coerced by dark forces beyond our knowing. I have come to believe the worst about the President. I simply can't ignore all these contradictions.

And that is 2012. People will dump him like a bad habit after being FORCED to vote for him then since the DLC strategy is to corner us where we "don't have any other choice". I certainly wouldn't vote for him EVER again after that, IF I vote for him then! He's NOT to be trusted!

If "Obama's views" are to oppose HCR and financial reform, and he hired Daley because of these views, then why did Obama sign both bills? Why did he spend basically his entire first two years pushing for them?

Either you like HCR/FinReg, which means you should give Obama credit for passing them, or you don't like them, which means you should hardly be criticizing a new appointee who "opposes them."
