Founding Fathers in heaven looking down on Congress today
Madison: they're reading the Constitution right now.
Jefferson: who is?
Madison: congressmen, on the House floor. I'm watching on C-span.
Jefferson: reading it? What, out loud?
Madison: yeah, they're taking turns.
Jefferson: what are they doing that for?
Madison: not sure. It was the Tea Party's idea.
Jefferson: oh, those assholes. (rolls eyes).

1. Yeah, I don't get it.
I honestly do not understand why THEY want to read the Constitution out loud. I mean, in and of itself, it's not a bad idea. But it's the party whose president totally shredded it and called it a "goddam piece of paper." NOW they want to "honor" the Constitution????? Where the fuck were they eight years past?

3. As just suggested on MSNBC, why not have the homeless guy read it?
He'd do a much better job than those presently reading. Besides, they look like a bunch of kindergartners during a Christmas program for their mommies and daddies.
