Congressional bills condensed to single haiku?

In a field of increasingly bizarre Republican presidential candidates, former Godfather's Pizza CEO Herman Cain has stood out in a class of his own. And with his recent pledge that as president he would limit congressional bills to three pages, a Cain presidency would be our least wasteful ever, clearly. Cain was horrified by the length of the healthcare reform bill, and as Stephen Colbert put it, "When it comes to healthcare, America should listen to the man who made his fortune selling bacon cheeseburger pizza."

Obviously, Colbert is more than on board with Cain's devotion to abbreviated bills. After decrying the length of some of America's most influential documents, Colbert took it a step further by providing an ode to legislative brevity in poetic terms. "If anyone wants my vote, they must pledge to repeal and replace Obama's healthcare bill with this Republican health plan reform haiku:"



Blood in the Urine.
A Tingling Down the Left Arm.
Walk It Off, Grandma.

"...If you can, that is, after we throw you and gramps under the billionaire bus (R), or off a cliff, or anywhere out of the picture so we can, um, 'economize' on you UseLESS eatERs. Smirk. Sneer."
