http://weblogs.sun-sentinel.com/news/politics/palm/blog/2011/06/tea_party_still_owes_more_than.htmlIn April 2011, back when Donald Trump was playing politician/stealth marketing for "The Apprentice", he had the South Florida Tea Party throw a rally for him.
The police protection (apparently to protect The Donald and/or his hair from any harm) and barricades (to make sure no germ infested teabagger could attempt to shake The Donald's hand) cost the City of Boca Raton over $6,000.
The Tea Party has yet to pay the bill, and it is likely the taxpayers will be forced to eat the bill.
Sure, $6000 isn't a whole lot in terms of overall budgetary expenses, but still, you gotta love the hypocrisy.
This is why I laugh at people who call themselves "fiscal conservatives." All they care about is a) making sure they pay as little taxes as possible and b) having corporations be as free from regulations and oversight as possible, consequences be damned. "Fiscal conservatives" have absolutely nothing to do with advocating for actual fiscal responsibility.
And to think the "brilliant businessman" Trump is too cheap to cover the bill for the Teabaggers....
