Well I called Rick Scott's office for a personal need yesterday.
It seemed like I was trying to get through to a seedy hotel whose front desk clerk was sleeping in the back.
The line was all crackly and there was a message from Scott telling everyone that Florida is the best state in the country to live and then you are put on hold. Some crackly music plays and then about 30 seconds later Scott comes on and says the same thing. This went on for about 4 minutes.
I have called Congresspersons, Senators and other politicians around this country and I have never experienced a cheaper system. The man does not know how to run his office the same way he doesn't know how to run his state.
5. Sounds like he's running government like a business.
After all, the purpose of business phone numbers is to enable potential and actual customers to spend the day joyfully exploring voice mail hell and Muzak while learning again and again and again how important your call is to them.
7. So I called back today and it was the same old thing except Scott didn't shut up
I thought yesterday there was a break between having to listen to him but today it was just an endless loop of Scott talking. So when someone finally answered the phone after about 3 minutes I told the man that if Rick Scott wants to create jobs then he could hire some more employees for his office.
And then the man took my number, remember this was for a personal issue that began with Marco Rubio telling me to call Rick Scott and he would take care of the issue, and said someone would call me back and then.........nothing. It was kind of urgent issue that they could have helped me with but just didn't.
So anyway I got the issue solved today without their stinking help.
