Popular social programs are clearly now OK to dismantle. The only thing that is no longer safe to politically consider is supporting social programs.

:(

1. Well then,
that means many of us are now more clearly disenfranchised as we are the "social" in society as opposed to the anti-social behaviors, politics and views of the entrenched. They have theirs and we won't be receiving ours.

Sounds like an end-game. It's over for many.

2. Uh, no. As every recent election has shown.
But thank you for a completely ninny-headed statement designed to demoralize the Democrats and liberals.

What utter crap I get to read here every day.

5. Maybe for politicians
But as the polls have CONSISTANTLY shown, the actual PEOPLE (you know, the ones who are SUPPOSED to be in charge in a bourgeoisie "democracy") like social programs.

All this will really do is allow more and more people to be educated ABOUT socialism and education will increase the popularity of the MOST democratic economic system out there.

At some point there will be a political explosion between this great "Silent Socialist Majority" and the political elite and their bosses. It's as inevitable as gasoline and matches causing an explosion.
