oh great, Politico already bashing new Dem chair

of course because she's outspoken and partisan. I don't remember a similar expose of the Republican chair.

:argh: I hope the Dems run a campaign accusing Republicans of anti-woman policies. It's time for the media to start looking at their own biases towards powerful women. Pelosi, Clinton, and now Wasserman -Schulz face unrelenting pressure and media blitz. It's tough being a powerful Democratic woman.

1. Uh, they're a right wing organ. What did you expect?
I'm sure they tried to find dick photos of her, too.

Which is why WE DON'T LET THEM PICK OFF OUR PEOPLE ONE BY ONE.

Give Politico the same respect you give Fox. NONE.

2. republicans have been churning out press releases
press releases such as this Politico article

Republicans, now led by mild-mannered party chairman Reince Priebus, who will debate Wasserman Schultz for the first time Sunday on “Meet the Press,” are gleeful over her bumpy rollout. Conservative blogs are seizing on her excesses — a luxury they did not have with Kaine, her more measured predecessor — and the RNC and other party organs have been churning out a near-constant stream of press releases about the congresswoman’s flubs.

4. I hear ya, cally
Look at the women the GOP revere on their side - Palin, Angle, O'Donnell, Bachmann. And, don't forget Virginia Foxx & Victoria Jackson.

All of those women are Anti-Woman, sadly. You would think they'd want to preserve women's rights at least for their daughters & their granddaughters.

You would think they'd want their daughters to grow to be strong & independent women.

Instead what they do is tear down those that are.

7. It doesn't make sense
Remember when Ann Coulter argued that women should not have the right to vote or something like that. :argh:

5. Outspoken and partisan?
I can't think of a better qualification for someone who is supposed to speak for her party.

12. At the very least, articles from Politico should be read with considerable skepticism
Edited on Fri Jun-10-11 06:09 PM by RufusTFirefly
Politico isn't as blatant a propaganda arm as Faux. It occasionally runs some accurate articles. (Heck, like the proverbial stopped clock, even the Moonie Times gets it right a couple of times.) But on balance it appears to have a shit-stirring, Republican-enabling agenda.

10. Did they have an article about Rence Prebus calling for Weiner to resign but not Vitter?

It's only okay if republicans do it.
