More Anthony Weiner photos surface online.
Rep. Anthony Weiner took several pictures of himself grabbing his privates, part of a new batch of embarrassing photos that surfaced online Sunday morning.

The gossip website TMZ.com posted 11 photos it claimed were taken in the House member’s gym, a private exercise facility in the Capitol complex that is open to current and former lawmakers.

The photos show Weiner standing in front of a mirror, his BlackBerry pointed forward snapping shots of bare chest, often with just a towel draped over his genitals. There are also shots of him in the middle of the exercise room, with empty elliptical trainers behind him

1. Weiner has some serious mental problems. He is a narcissist and a serial exhibitionist.
Edited on Sun Jun-12-11 11:59 AM by ClarkUSA
These are abnormal psych disorders which require more than "a short leave of absence."

In previous times, Weiner would have been flashing young women in dark alleys and calling them over while sitting in his car with his pants pulled down.

I really hope he doesn't return to Congress. Once the House Ethics Committee investigates his obvious improper use of Congressional resources for phone sex and his illegal offer to use his PR team to help his sext-partner lie about her involvement with him, he'll really be toast.

He won't be missed by his constituents because he has no record of achievement anyway. Some people will miss his red meat grandstanding, but I've never been a fan of do-nothing media whores.

2. so does the press & a large % of American people obsessed by this
I have no desire to see those pics or any others for which the poor excuse for media is now spending all their time scouring the internet and social media sites. ENOUGH....Let him disappear for a while... He'll leave permanently or not, but at least if he is allowed to go away and deal with his issues, we might get on to all the important issues being ignored. sigh...

Don't blame the victims of his CYA lies. Besides, Weiner brought this on himself, although his "obsessed" defenders will never admit it.

20. So YOU are a victim of his?
I am not an obsessed defender. I believe we have one hell of a lot more serious problems we need to deal with and the obsession with Weiner means we may well lose any momentum in dealing with them or in taking back the House (and retaining the Senate) in the next election. So, that means that the rest of us are victims to THOSE obsessed by Weiner. Does that include you?

22. Only Weiner can end this by resigning.
He's useless in the House at this point. There's no justification to his staying, with plenty of other good progressive candidates in his district.

43. I get it now. If a person has specialized training, knowledge
& professional credentials, they would be violating their ethical standards by making diagnostic guesses without more evidence (ideally including maybe psych test data, a clinical interview, etc.), but it's open season for anyone without credentials to wax profound, even if--nay, especially if--they have no particular understanding of the diagnostic complexities involved.

Do you really think this is common practice among House members? Sorry, but that particular combination of enormous ego and blatant stupidity is probably pretty rare.

Certainly, he needs treatment and probably lifelong institutionalization. The REAL question is why our lord and savior Jesus Christ allows such evil, filthy fleshy fornication to exist in this world at all. When, oh, WHEN will it end????

(which, based on a cross-section of your posts, is an affliction from which you suffer horribly), and a Congressman shamefully building a scrapbook of dick-related memorabilia.

And that's it - no in-betweens. :eyes:

25. Sexting is the new let me introduce myself culture.
but if we are to judge Rep. Weiner on the basis of nudity then we would have to go back and remove statues from museums and Parks, get rid of a few Van Gogh's and all other forms of nudity that is considered art. What he did only brings embarrassment to himself. As a resounding voice in the Party he should have known that he was being set up and would be watched like a hawk by the Repugs. Repugs know when all else fails with humans they can rely on their natural sexual instincts to betray them every time. Its what my mama called thinking with the wrong HEAD. But I have not met many men who can say they have not succumbed to more than cyber-cheating. This is a non-issue and anybody who sees this as something else are looking out of republican eyes and through republican glasses.
