DUers remember Thomas Druce and Tom RIdge's statement at the time

State Rep. Thomas W. Druce, a Bucks County Republican once considered a rising star in Pennsylvania politics, was arrested yesterday on vehicular-homicide and other charges in a fatal hit-and-run accident last summer.

Druce, in a wrinkled blue suit, chewed gum and appeared nervous at his arraignment, where he also was charged with leaving the scene of an accident - which carries a mandatory jail sentence.

"This story is a tragedy," Gov. Ridge said in a statement. "I have known Tom Druce to be a man of honor, integrity, kindness and compassion. Like others who know him, I have been shocked by this news, and I have hoped that it is untrue. Now, our justice system will decide."

Druce entered no plea and had no comment as he left the hearing.

"I'd be incompetent if he ever said anything," said Matthew Gover, Druce's Harrisburg attorney.

Druce had killed a VET in a hit and run and then falsified the insurance paperwork and hid the vehicle. He ended up in prison though!

Specter and the rest of them did everything to prevent him from going to prison. He just killed a man with his SUV and drove away and then lied and lied and lied. And ReTHUGS stood by him until the judge sent him to prison.
It's about double standards and yes I think Weiner's photos show poor judgement but he didn't kill anyone or murder anyone or rape anyone or hire prostitutes.

I wonder what that ReTHUG is up to these days.
