Is everyone really calling for Wiener to go or is the Media making it seem that way?

The reason I ask is because last week there were headlines claiming that Nancy Pelosi wanted Wiener to resign and start an ethics probe. Since then, those claims have been refuted. So what I'm asking is, do you think the media is yet again smashing the keys on the mighty Wurlitzer by incessantly stating that some unnamed Democrat is calling for Wiener to quit? Just thought I'd ask.

I'm pissed off at him and I have the right to state my opinions about him. The situation is troubling, even more so because I like his voting record. But I haven't called for him to go.

I'm not mad at folks who want him to resign. They also have the right to their opinions. As far as Dem leadership goes, they probably know more than we do - even if it's just that they feel he was so dishonest with them that they can't trust him anymore.

I'm happy that the people of his district seem to like and respect him.

Funny, they repeated them on the Sunday talk shows. If the media had just made up those quotes that would have been the perfect time to deny them.
