did Rachel Maddow marry her partner over the holidays?
I think she lives in Massachusetts, where gay marriage is legal.

Last night, she mentioned something about her "mother-in-law." So I'm assuming that's why she was away from her show for so long.

If so, congratulations Rachel.

1. I have not heard anything either in the Boston media or the Springfield media, so my guess is no.

But it is not uncommon to call your SO's parents inlaws, even if you are not married.
