I know AW resigned, but over and over I heard that "he will be remembered for this press conference". Well, yes, since the media played it over and over and over and over and over. I have watched (or rather listened to) Cenk, Chris and now Lawrence, and have heard the presser at least 3 times.

Maybe you could have said - he resigned and there was a heckler at the press conference.

When the howie stern asshole started screaming, the press should have turned the cameras off. That is when the news stopped and the circus started.

Shame on you, Lawrence, Cenk and Chris. I can't wait for Monday and Current TV.

Just venting, as I was one of the ones that did not want AW to resign. This whole thing is hurtful to me.

Maybe its time to take a step back and re-evaluate your thinking when virtually every Democrat including many progressives agree that Weiner needed to resign.

Now, I was extremely vested in AW not resigning. I was arguing with everybody and not backing down. He resigned. I am extremely hurt and disappointed by all this. Do you have to gloat? He is gone, you guys all got what you wanted. I feel like there is no one really to speak for me anymore, other than perhaps Bernie Sanders. Maybe that was the end game all along, I don't know. I don't think I need to "re-evualate my thinking" because as long as I continue to vote D, party leaders don't really seem to care about me either.

Now, let's see if the media will indeed turn to "more important stories", rather than the next manufactured faux controversy.
