Poll question: Have you changed your milk drinking habits since the Fukushima turducken?
I'm not going to define 'often' or 'some'. Use whatever definition of those works for you.

1. Of course not. Why would I?
Because of imaginary harm from undetectably low levels of contaminants from 10,000 miles away??

3. I avoid any produce, meat, or milk from the West coast
Local produce is better anyways here in Florida, but very expensive.

21. I avoid products from Florida as it is too expensive and not as good as what we get here
on the west coast.

9. Mmmm...yum.
Real milk with cream. That's the way I was raised and really had to adjust to store-bought milk when I left home.

4. There is no reason to: Look, fallout is 100% atoms and...SO AM I.
Milk? It's 100% atoms too.

Cows? You got it.

Hell, at any given time I may be milk or cow, or some percentage thereof.

Besides, everybody knows they're getting as much radiation at Fukushima as you do sleeping next to a goddamned head of broccoli. With the stem. I've partied with broccoli. I've done stem to stem, stem to floret, steamed...I once got my shit curried at an all-nighter in Bangladesh. I'll probably be sleeping with one head of broccoli tonight, at least.

6. Other
I did not drink milk so often, but have not curtailed intake since March 11. And the milk that I drink is produced in Chiba Prefecture, a little more than 100 miles south of the reactors.

10. I figure if radiation in milk was going to hurt me, radiation in something else would also hurt me
Maybe there's some reason to single out dairy as especially susceptible to contamination, but I don't think there is much to be gained by worrying about it.

Not that you asked, but I do eat a fair amount of a variety of cheeses ...

I find it exceedingly difficult to imagine a universe without cheese.

14. No, still no 'milk in a box' either. Get it a gallon at a time, and enjoy every glass. Had
a glass right before going to bed, mixed with a protein powder.

22. I started eating more cheese recently, and it has nothing to do with Fukushima
I fired the doctor who told me I shouldn't consume any milk products, after my endocrinologist told me to have all the milk and cheese I want.
