If there are war crimes committed during the bush administration
and the acts continue into this administration why is anyone surprised when there is no urgency to prosecute?
when pelosi takes impeachment off the table doesnt she become complicit in the war crimes?
when a new administration refuse to investigate these charges doesnt it also become complicit in the war crimes?
why is anyone surprised when war criminals refuse to investigate and prosecute war criminals?

4. That's been my standard reply when people go on about prosecuting Bush

as well as, if you start looking back at Presidents for prosecutable actions, all parties will then seek to prosecute a President. That's just the breaks. Doesn't make it right or palatable but it is a fact.

Edited to add:

And I think the Bush admin knew that, which is why they weren't worried about war crimes, torture, etc.

5. The elephant in the room, so to speak. Possibly the only question that matters now
in this country -- extends to the financial consolidation of power among corporate-govt elites (all the same, a revolving door, all buying office, all greasing the wheels that line their pockets). Until these questions are honestly answered, we will never, ever get anywhere.
