Just watched Dr. Dean at Netroots Nation and of course was inspired.
What would it take to convince him, for the good of the nation, to consider running for President in '16. Dean is smart, very well versed and identifies with everyday Americans, etc. He hates the wars)and understands our concerns re unemployment, jobs, the economy in general, the struggle of teachers, unions. You know, the same we thought we were getting with President Obama. I know Dr. Dean has stated he is not interested but would wish there was something that would make him re-consider.

2. I couldn't support his this time around.
He is no longer the maverick he used to be and has fallen in line to be a Good Democrat who, among other things, think charter schools are just peachy.

4. And the minute after Dean got sworn in, you'd start hating him too.
Because the fact of the matter is that in a large and hard to run country, nothing is going to be perfect.

9. I don't have to know you to know the facts.
Aside from the fact that a great deal of the crap that people are complaining about is simply made up from whole cloth, the fact of the matter is that anybody actually in the White House would NEVER be good enough to be acceptable to people who specialize in slamming Democrats. Even the perceived "perfect" candidates, who have things glossed over that in the case of a President, like Obama, they'd be torn to shreds for.

Dean is fiscally conservative. Kuchinich is pro-life. Paul Wellstone voted for the Patriot Act. Nobody, period, is "pure" enough for the purity crowd.
