Wow. 68% think that Governor rick scott of Fl put the fox in the henhouse in the DCA
DCA=Department of Community Affairs.

Poll in the Orlando Sentinel shows how little confidence the people have in Rick Scott's intentions. I just wonder how this guy got into office. Are there really that many stupid people in Florida?

Maybe that question was rhetorical.

1. so you think Florida has more than, say, Minnesota with bachmann, or NJ with
christie, or Texas and Oklahoma with almost all elected officials.

Let's face it - stupidity runs throughout the U.S.

2. Let's keep each other posted on these developments.
If Republican policies are bad in one state, they will be bad in another as well.

3. You're right
Stupidity does run throughut the US!

It just so happens to run more in Florida, Ohio, Texas, New Jersey, Oklahoma, Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Arizona, this time around.

Next time who knows where stupidity will rear its ugly Republican head?

10. Bachmann is from a conservative district. Scott is from an entire state!
Franken in Minnesota (state-wide) is more comparable to Scott (state-wide)

That's the difference.

There are lots of pockets of political ideologies in states. But when someone wins a state-wide office, that speaks to the preponderance of one ideology over another.

13. geez - those were just examples
it is just ridiculous to make such generalities about the population of an entire state.

Sorry to have confused you regarding the point of my post.

4. Yes, there are..
There are that many stupid people in this wonderful state. Not trying to be an ageist(if you are older and here at DU you are most likely enlightened, I hope,) but there are a WHOLE bunch of stupid old people concentrated in The Villages, and the stupid runs abound throughout the state after that. But to be fair, Alex Sink blew it-she ran a lousy campaign. She lost. It was hers to lose and she did it swimmingly.

11. ...
There are Democrats down here, and I see that there are 'Democratic' organizations, like on facebook and such, but little to no action or organization, no fire in the belly. It's like a dead zone. Talk about fish/birdkills-It's like Florida is one big Demkill-dead zone.....

9. Without a doubt. It's sad when the outcome can be predicted
by choosing the least qualified candidate.
