A company my company is doing business with held up a promise and moved 1500 jobs to the US.
Their thinking was that if we sell our product in the US, then we will make it in the US.

As business grows, so will the jobs. We are contracted to spend a lot of money with them over the next few years.

Last year they canceled their help desk contract with an Indian firm and setup their help desk in the US as well.

1 down 1,000's of corporations to go. Today felt like a victory for us when they broke the news. A corporate stiff made good on a promise. It must be snowing in hell.

5. In order to protect my anonymity, I cannot say.
But I will say that they are big. They now have over 20,000 US employees all over the US.

If my company was not the best company ever, I would be working for them.

They figure with thier current growth rate, they will have over 30,000 US employees in the next 2 to 3 years.

6. I would like to remain anonymous, so I cannot say specifically.
But, I can almost guarantee with 100% certainty that you already support them.

They are a huge part of everyday life.

7. Finally, a company showing their spirit of America. I have gone
through around 7 DVRs and I told the technicians if they made this stuff in the U.S. we wouldn't have this problem and EVERY ONE of them nodded their heads. Garbage in, garbage out. Please thank this company (and yours) for doing this.

8. We already thanked them.
If all companys and even this country were run like theirs and ours, we would be recession proof.

People fight to come work for us. During this horrible recession, we have been very profitable.

Simple rules:
Take care of your people, they will take care of you.
Take care of your community, they will take care of you.
Operate free from debt.
Listen to your customers and employees, they will tell you what they want and what works.

Simple stupid shit, but so impossible for some corporations to follow. I don't get it.

11. We hear so little good news these days, it's hard to know how to react.
So I guess I'll just say, "Good on 'em!"
