43. we're so screwed, no matter what, that we might as well have some fun before
the ship goes all the way under

that 08 campaign was very stressful, and not enjoyable til the very end, especially when the idiots ate up Palin's egregious convention speech. at that point, I thought the media was just going to let her say anything, and let her get away without answering any questions at all

if they'd been able to keep her away from the inkstained wretches, McC very well may have won

can you imagine what things would be like, bad as they are now?

here's what goes through my mind:

one caller, however, nailed him on the Bush tax cuts, and how insane it is for the pugs to be demanded fiscal responsibility when there's ZERO chance of achieving this with the clearly documented shortfall in fed receipts this will cause

his answer (which I didn't get a lot of, cause I was typing) was pure supply side BS

I gather Republicans want some new blood, so I am guessing it's gotta be combo of Perry, Rubio, Jindal, Christie, Ryan.

Rubio makes the best sense as a VP running mate in my opinion, but I guess it could be any of them.

Maybe it's Perry/Christie?

I guess since he is talking dream ticket it doesn't have to be realistic, so maybe Christie/Rubio?

I didn't remember reading about them earlier till I googled them -- that's how forgettable the ticket is.

80. if it's who I heard today, I'd welcome that ticket with arms wide open.
it's not going to happen, though. not in this dimension

just shows how completely out of touch he is

of course, name ANY pair, and they're just as ridiculous

thing is, ANY of them could win, if the economy is bad enough (as long as they don't go completely off the deep end, which I hope they do)

remember; #41 had approval ratings in the 80s/90s right after Gulf War I

He was really talking up Paul Ryan and saying that he should be able to go head-to-head with President Obama over Ryancare.

He also seems to really like Christie, so I'm going to go with Ryan/Christie????
