Update on Obama Admin's targeting of prominent peace activists & politically active labor organizers

This is an interesting update. One couple was apparently targeted for their "Revolutionary Lemonade Stand, which sells silkscreened baby outfits and other clothes with socialist slogans, phrases like 'Help Wanted: Revolutionaries.'" All of the activists have refused to testify before the grand jury. Again, one can't help but notice the irony of the Obama Admin helping Bush/Cheney escape justice while going after evil leftist lesbians, educators, and a stay at home dad. Gobama!

CHICAGO — FBI agents took box after box of address books, family calendars, artwork and personal letters in their 10-hour raid in September of the century-old house shared by Stephanie Weiner and her husband.

Several activists and their lawyers said they believe indictments could come anytime, so they have turned their organizing skills toward a counteroffensive, decrying the inquiry as a threat to their First Amendment rights.

Those who have been subpoenaed, most of them non-Muslim, include clerical workers, educators and in one case a stay-at-home dad. Some are lesbian couples with young children — a point apparently noted by investigators, who infiltrated the activists’ circle with an undercover officer presenting herself as a lesbian mother.

All 23 of the activists invoked their right not to testify before a grand jury, defying U.S. Attorney Patrick Fitzgerald, whose office is spearheading the investigation.

Fitzgerald is heading up the investigation.What are his motives? There was a time when he could do no wrong.

Although it's hard to say just what the Netroots Nation poll means, anyone on the leftward end of the political spectrum who doesn't "approve" of the Obama administration are just a bunch of bitter dead-enders who don't understand the subtle nuances and shades of meaning of presidenting in modern day America. If we'd just climb down from our ivory towers, we'd grasp why it's the best of all worlds and couldn't possibly be any better for these people to have to answer for their infamous crimes.
