White House: Obama will not 'evolve' quickly enough on gay marriage for LGBT fundraiser
President Obama, who says he's "evolving" on gay marriage, now reportedly won't evolve quickly enough to come out in favor of marriage equality at this week's big gay/trans (aka LGBT) fundraiser.

As Joe writes on AMERICAblog Gay: Evolve already.

1. Carney said at the press conference...
He doesn't "anticipate" that Obama's evolution will occur that quickly (at least according to reports I've read), so it was somewhat less definitive than Mr Aravosis says.

Wouldn't want to upset voters there. He won by a thin margin there in 2008. Don't want to get too hasty and lose all those supporters.

4. Why doesn't Aravosis ever just state the facts/truth and stop spinning stuff.

And that last line on the link is a hoot: "... It might be nice to give credit where credit is due."

Perhaps Aravosis should begin to take his own advice,

10. What is the spin? Didn't Obama say 8 months back his position
is evolving?

Given Obama's slowness on this issue, I am starting to doubt if evolution is real myself.
