the unions are now being attacked there as well, and according to Big Ed, with the help of some democrats :(

7. Way Too Many Union Members Vote Republican, Too
Unions used to be the Democratic base, back in the day, but they have not been reliable Democratic voters ever since Reagan.

Reagan won with a lot of union votes. Even after he screwed PATCO, they voted for him again.

Neither unions nor the Democratic party have ever really recovered.

The union busting bill passed the Senate with the help of Steve Sweeney, a union ironworker himself.

Let's hope we can kill this in the assembly.
