Karma's a bitch, ya know?
I'm just sayin'...

FAIRBANKS, Alaska -- Former Alabama Republican Gov. Bob Riley was injured in a motorcycle accident in Alaska on Sunday, and is receiving treatment at a hospital in Fairbanks, according to friends and family members.

Riley, 66, lost control of his Harley-Davidson motorcycle while traveling on a gravel road north of Fairbanks. He suffered 7 broken ribs, a broken clavicle and a punctured lung, according to Rob Riley, his oldest son.

Rob Riley said he spoke to his father late Sunday. He said doctors told him his father would be hospitalized for at least several days.

Actually, it's been reported that he was wearing a helmet at the time.

6. He stole an election from Don Siegelman.
Then he was governor when the repug US attorney (her hub was head of AL repug committee) with a repug judge (Riley supporter and contributor) basically instructed a questionable jury to convict Siegelman.

The whole thing stinks worse than roadkill skunk.

7. I think that's a crappy thing to say because what it must mean, by extension
is that anyone who suffers an unfortunate accident or has something bad happen to them had it coming.

I think that's a heartless and cruel philosophy.

What did this little one do?

10. I'm not trying to be rude, but perhaps if you understood the philosophy of karma
you might not take such offense? I'm not going to explain it. However, if you google it, I'm certain that you will find a number of articles that may help you understand the philosophy of karma.

12. What is important is how it is used, here in particular. Someone we don't like has an accident
oooooooooo he had it coming.

Someone we do like? Different story altogether.

8. Old men should stick to their Buicks and not try to relive their youth
with fast cars and loud motor bikes. They just don't possess the reflexes for those things anymore.
