So Ratigan has Trump on to talk about trade agreements....
First of all, what the fuck does Trump know about trade agreements...

Second, I can tell you, not much.

He claims that the reason the US is getting fucked all the time on these trade agreements is because we have diplomats negotiating trade agreements and not businessmen, his words not mine...

I contend that it IS business negotiating these trade. How else would they turn out so favorably for the Investing Class.

If trump REALLY wanted to negotiate trade agreements with the American people in mind, he would throw in a couple of labor leaders onto the negotiating team to balance out the interests of the capital class...

1. True enough, however he and Dylan did discuss some things I didn't know.
Like China taxes us at 25% but we tax them at 2.5%. I didn't know that.

I agree that corporations are in charge of the trade agreements, but some of what he discussed was interesting and mildly informative.

4. The brother of GHWB was one of the first ones to
negotiate with the Chinese, I wonder if this is where that started.

We do not need any more free trade agreements........... they are killing jobs here

5. Isn't he pretty honest about that? I've certainly always considered him one.
Though I could never be part of a libertarian drive, some of their ideas and hopes are reasonable to me.

7. Oh, well, I guess I got it wrong. I don't listen to him often, but
I can't say I've seen the usual conservative tells from him. Maybe he is an old-style conservative, ie not entirely nuts.

8. Been warning folks since day one about that CNBC transplanted stooge!
guess he's been able to fool some of the people
enough of the time to still be on the air.
Our media in general is a piece of work!

10. My comments weren't about Ratigan...
Edited on Tue Jun-28-11 04:45 PM by WCGreen
It was about the guest and what he was saying...

on edit....

Trump could have been a guest on Rachel, as if, and I would still make the same observation.

11. I know... Just making a comment on Ratigan.. did not mean to
highjack the thread with a separate line.. just happened.. sorry about that. My personal unease with Ratigan got the better of me. I am sure they would delete this portion if you contact the Mods.. I would not have my feelings hurt..

13. There is no end to the rehabilitation of GOP idiots...
There is always someone available in the media to "rehabilitate" these GOP clowns. We have all seen it with Palin, now Trump and Bachmann. Liberal leaders are their own worst enemy. It is beyond ridiculous that Anthony Weiner was drummed out of Congress and David Vitter still remains. The government liberals are lazy and unfortunately to much chagrin....the conservative maybe right on this point... that liberal don't have any principles. As of late this seems completely true.
