On michelle bachman and government grants
let me get this straight, pull myself by bootstraps... we don't need any help from no stinking government, APPLIED for government grants?

Ok medicaid payments (which are larger) ok I get it... you treat them, you get them... but to get a grant you need to ACTUALLY ACTIVELY APPLY for the damn grant.

Now I know a republican and hypocrisy go hand in hand, but...

1. The fact is that you're only allowed to better yourself if you are one of them.

Everyone else can go to hell.

Coming out of the professional field I was just in, I'm quite curious what types of employees these were and why the guy didn't want to deal with authentic professionals, you know, the kind with objective professional standards . . . ? Or was he just buying something from them with the improved skill status?

2. Not even going into the type of employees
the fact that they actively pursued a grant speaks volumes.

(By the way it treated patients in a Christian manner which might bring another issue... that pesky first amendment, and yes I know that might be on thin ice)

3. Believe me, we're seeing some of the same sort of thing around here.
Let's all get a big holy buzzzz on and collect guaranteed paychecks, no matter whether anyone who needs help actually gets what they need or not. Everyone's higher than a kite on "the Lord" and success is what "we" say it is, so nothing actually has to change or anyone actually get any better.

Quite a racket.
