Just watched "Sex, Lies, and Cigarettes and could not stop thinking of the conservative
connections. Tobacco addiction and the industry built around it is a perfect parallel to how conservative thinking is fostered by right wing media. Some form of mental disconnect allows the hate mongers to replace rational thinking with paranoid ideology just as nicotine replaces the natural brain chemistry with synthetic stimulants that duplicate pleasure.
The insidious nature of the industry is as hell bent on profit over human suffering as the conservative political agenda is, the similarities are frightening.

2. Yes....I saw the documentary.
It was well done. Indonesia is easy to take advantage because the country is poor and the government isn't capable of keeping out the powerful multinational tobacco companies.
