WI recall, "Poll: Kapanke trails Shilling by 14 points":
http://lacrossetribune.com/news/local/article_e93cf2da-a2c8-11e0-b9ce-001cc4c03286.html

A new poll shows Sen. Dan Kapanke far behind his Democratic challenger in a summer recall election in which few likely voters remain undecided.

State Rep. Jennifer Shilling holds a 14-point lead over Kapanke among likely voters, according to the poll commissioned by the liberal blog Daily Kos and conducted last week by Public Policy Polling.

Fifty six percent said they support Shilling, while 42 percent back Kapanke. Only 3 percent said they were undecided. The poll has a margin of error of 2.3 percent.

“This is difficult news for the Kapanke campaign,” said University of Wisconsin-La Crosse political scientist Joe Heim. The unusually low number of undecided voters is noteworthy, he said.

Republicans here will dismiss the poll because it was commissioned by a "liberal blog", but it's a big lead with few undecideds. Still, in this election and all those to come we need to keep fighting until the fight is over. This seems like a good bet to pick up 1 of the 3 seats needed to control the senate here as long as we hold our own. How these recalls go will go a long way in determining how the recall of Walker will pan out.

The liberal web site Daily Kos released polling numbers in three state Senate recall races, showing the GOP incumbents trailing in two and leading in one.

The surveys were done June 23-26 by Public Policy Polling for the web site, which advocates the defeat of the Republican legislators.

In the 32nd Senate district, Republican incumbent Dan Kapanke trailed Democrat Jennifer Schilling 42% to 56% among likely voters. In the 18th Senate district, Republican incumbent Randy Hopper trailed Democrat Jessica King 47% to 50%. And in the 10th Senate district, GOP incumbent Sheila Harsdorf led Democrat Shelly Moore 50% to 45%. ................................
