The media is exaggerating Obama's attitude yesterday

at the press conference. It's not just Halperin. I saw a headline on aol news calling his press conference fiery or some such word, and claiming that he referred to the republicans as "girls."

I think it's an orchestrated effort. Many of you have probably already realized this as well. I know that Enrique had a great comment about this on another thread.

What is their motive, and will it succeed?

... in time for those voters who are asleep the other 3 years of every cycle, so they can play these clips and go 'Well no wonder Boehner didn't want to work with him!' and "Tsk, see, he isn't cooperative at all!" etc etc ...

and their loyal minions of the Tea Party Cult are towards President Obama on a constant basis. All they have to do is sit down and listen to 5 seconds of Rush, Sean, Neal, Glenn, Michael et. al to get a sampling of how "respectfully" the Republicans/right-wing treats President Obama. How in the world does the media never stop to wonder how Obama can work with THEM instead of throwing a fit whenever Obama becomes even mildly confrontational towards the Republicans. Some Fox News "Democrats" opined shortly after last November's election that OBAMA had failed at bipartisanship with the Republicans and that he had become too "polarizing" and should vow not to run for re-election in order to get things done with a (partial) Republican Congress. :crazy:

I think that we'll have to develop a new maxim that goes something like this: "Confrontation (like facts) has a liberal bias."

Obama. He uses smart and skillful language and raises the sound byte to a much higher level..

we have two parties. I saw nothing fiery about Obama's politics - same-old, same-old where he is on the approach to caving in to the GOP demands at the expense of the people who elected him.

Let them squeal. Who cares!!
They would have reacted the same to Truman if they had the technology.
