8. My senator Chris Coons should win Freshman senator of the year
He's been amazing!

Governor Jack Markell managed to balance the budget, provide civil unions to same sex couples and pass medical marijuana. Only reason he didn't get marriage equality was our damn DOMA in the state constition but the bill was written to ensure civil unions were equal every single way.

Gotta love living in Delaware!

We're in the midst of a government shutdown because of republican tools who are tying anti-choice and voter ID legislation to the budget.
