7. Default is not precisely a shut down
there are differences that are very much great. I keep saying, Americans in their modern historical experience have never experienced this. I hope it stays that way.

17. You are too serious. I was only drawing comparisons to consequences and inability to actually really
compromise.

8. Both of my senators are on board
However my rep in the house is the woman who stands behind Boehner all the time looking like a "zombie". I have let her know how I feel, and guess what, I never hear back from her!

15. I'm in Nebraska.
I told them that the failure to raise the debt ceiling is causing a great deal of concern out here in the real world. I told them people are starting to be truly frightened, and asked them to exercize whatever influence they have to bring this impasse to an end.

Do it. It feels good.

Although my (R) Senator says we need to raise the debt ceiling. That's good, I think.

18. my Congressperson is a T-Party dingbat.
bought and paid for by the Koch brothers. Her townhalls are a sham, planted with asskissers and all questions are prescreened by aides.

However, I did send a note to Sen. Gillibrand.
