Don't know if that'll pay off our National Debt in full, but they can't have California.

5. We could let the Chinese have Texas. They'd just turn around and
re-sell it to Mexico, for a profit. Then we'd take it away from Mexico. Again.

We've got way too many firearms to make any occupation comfortable. Mexico wouldn't want us back for the same reason, either.

The reality of post WWII has come to an end, the ride was great but we need to move on, the rest of the industrialized world isn't bombed out anymore and the developing world is rapidly becoming developed.

We must evolve our perception of what makes a nation great, and rebuild ourselves to integrate with, learn the best lessons from and influence, not dominate the world community.
