Fox, CNN And MSNBC To Cover Murdoch Hearing
The widely anticipated testimony by Rupert Murdoch in the British Parliament will be covered live extensively on American television Tuesday morning.

All three of the all-news cable channels in the United States plan to carry the appearances of Mr. Murdoch, the chairman of the News Corporation; his son James, the top executive of the company’s BSkyB outlet in Britain; and Mr. Murdoch’s former top executive in Britain, Rebekah Brooks, live beginning at about 9:15 a.m. Eastern Daylight Time.

CNN and the Fox News Network have committed to covering the testimony, without indicating any limitations on duration. A spokesman for MSNBC said the network would not cover the appearances “gavel to gavel” but would stay with the coverage “depending on the content.”

CNN said it would simulcast the event live on both its United States network and its international channel, CNNI. A Fox spokeswoman said that its sister channel Fox Business would also offer live coverage of the event.

4. Keith Olbermann was the FIRST person to announce he would cover it live.
Olbermann announced it last week.

I so look forward to Rupert squirming. I hope somebody starts a thread where we can comment as we watch.

Thanks for the thread, DearAbby, and to you, Tx4obama, for passing along about Keith's coverage.

3. Fox isn't going to cover this, they're going to cover it up as much as they can.
Murdoch is their boss, for crying out loud.
O'Reilly isn't going to say anything about it.
And neither will Hannity.

They don't want to get Becked.

7. I predict they cover Uncle Rupert's opening remarks, if any
Then cut to riveting live coverage of how Carmaggeddon didn't inconvenience anyone.
